HILLCREST CITY FEST - Sunday August 10th - 10am to 7pm |
Held in the heart of Hillcrest, last year's festival drew an estimated 125,000. It is expected we will surpass that number this year. The festival will feature over 250 booths, displaying a wide range of arts and crafts. Continuous entertainment will be provided on 3 stages and there will be over 25 food vendors and 2 beer gardens. Festival of Sail will be held at the downtown area of San Diego on North Harbor Drive. Planned festivities include day-long live entertainment, food booths, over 280 craft and business showcases. Tall Ship tours, stationary historic vessel displays, beer garden, cannon gun battle sails and kid's activities. Attendance is anticipated at 400,000 over the five days. The San Marcos Grand Summer Festival features 300 wonderfully unique vendors. The American Muscle Classic Car and Show, the largest in San Diego County, includes some 200 classic cars and hot rods. Expect high-energy from three entertainment stages, one of which complements the car show. The Festival's Beer Garden not only includes local microbreweries, but also wonderful food and fare from the many restaurants of Old California Restaurant Row. This exciting annual event draws upwards of 153,000 spectators to Mission Bay in San Diego. Racing begins at 8:00 and continues to 5:00.
